It also got a brand new front bumper as well as side markers that were rectangular. Diablo was also offered in a few special editions. Both the SV-R and GTR are race versions of this car. There were only 20 SV-Rs, and 30 GTRs have been built. The GTR featured an upgraded 6.0-liter version of the V12 engine and was developed to compete in the one-make Supertrophy series, which was comparable to the current Super Trofeo series.

2. Material

A Lamborghini Diablo key is made of a titanium alloy. It is extremely light and robust. It is used in a variety of components of the car, including the exhaust, cylinder heads, and transmission. It helps to keep the interior cool. Titanium is very strong and can withstand extreme temperatures. The key also has security features to protect against theft.

In 1994, Chrysler left F1 and sold Lamborghini to a group of Indonesians. To aid in the revival of the brand the company introduced an old-fashioned version of the Diablo called the SV. With a fresh powertrain and a few SE30-inspired cosmetic tweaks, the SV was 10% cheaper than the standard rear-drive Diablo.

The SV was Diablo's final major facelift. The 1999 model year was the last time that the Diablo saw a major facelift. The headlights with pop-ups were removed, and the Giotto Bizzarrini designed V12 was upgraded to 529 horsepower and 446 pound feet. Other changes included the removal the traction system and a new engine oil cooler, and larger brakes on the front and rear.

Inside, the SV offered new gauges that were white with large analogue readouts of road and engine speed. The SV also offered more comfortable seats in the front, and a cutting-edge Alpine audio system. The SV was the first Lamborghini equipped with a tire-pressure indicator. The system sent a signal to the instrument cluster if the pressure of the air dropped to below 28 PSI.

3. Design

The Lamborghini Diablo, which was produced between 1990 and, set a new benchmark for the brand. It was the first Lamborghini production to achieve a top speed over 320 km/h. Good examples continue to are highly sought-after.

Instead the car was created by Tom Gale, who had previously worked on the Chrysler Prowler and Dodge Viper.

This included the SV variants that came out in 1993 and the GT models that came out in 1996, and the VT Roadster Millennium model that was built in 2000. The GT version of Diablo included enhanced racing features, like cooling vents for the brakes, as well as an upgraded motor.

Sandro Munari was involved in developing the LamborghiniDiablo. He won the 1977 WRC Driver's Championship with a Lancia StratosHF. He utilized his vast knowledge of fast cars to test the limits of the Diablo and provided valuable input. The Diablo was designed at a time where most modern electronic vehicle systems were not yet available. It took until 1993 to introduce power steering and 1999 to add ABS.
